At Boronatic<\/strong> we are specialists in the printing of adhesive labels for spirits and alcoholic beverages<\/strong>. Therefore, we are informed of any modification or news event that may affect our labeling service for this type of products. <\/p>\n

Our customers are informed about the Labeling Law for wine<\/a>, or alcoholic products.<\/p>\n

In addition to warning about the risk for pregnant women and the effects on driving<\/strong>, as we mentioned earlier, the packaging must now mention the calories<\/strong> of the beverage.
\nThe aim? To warn of the harms of alcohol and prevent overweight. <\/p>\n

An initiative promoted by the European Parliament<\/strong>, with the support of the European Union’s Public Health<\/strong> experts, has already taken a firm step to change the labeling of these beverages, even though these measures clash with many commercial interests. Health comes first. <\/p>\n

Ireland will not wait for this law to be enforced, and will become the first EU country to require this type of information on alcoholic beverages.
\nIn Spain<\/strong> this ratification will have to wait a little longer. For the time being, the only obligation that manufacturers have is to warn of the alcohol content of their products. <\/p>\n
