The Management of BORONATIC S.A. is committed to promoting Responsible Forest Management and the FSC Chain of Custody.
The implementation of a chain of custody system allows us to guarantee the environmental protection of forests and to ensure, through the control of the process stages, that the products we supply to our customers are environmentally friendly.
Management is committed to manage the control, monitoring and handling in order to obtain Chain of Custody Certification in accordance with FSC Certification standards in order to promote responsible forest management and ensure the environmental protection of forests.
BORONATIC is committed to occupational health and safety.
BORONATIC is also committed to the FSC values as defined in the FSC-POL-01-004 policy, and the organization is not directly or indirectly involved in the following activities:
Illegal logging or trade of illegal timber or forest products.
Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations.
Destruction of high conservation values in silvicultural operations.
Significant conversion of forests to plantations or other uses.
Introduction of genetically modified organisms in silvicultural operations.
Violation of any of the ILO Fundamental Conventions, as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998.
Violation of the FSC® Fundamental Requirements listed below:
Do not use child labor
Eliminate all forms of forced labor
Ensuring non-discrimination in employment and occupation
Respect freedom of association and the effective right to collective bargaining.
